Shanti School Alumni Association

Shanti School Alumni Association was established with the aim and objectives to reconcile and reunite the ex-students of Shanti Model Secondary School (SMSS) Manigram, Rupendehi, Nepal. The friends’ studied together in the school level education are priceless property for reciprocating support and enjoying each other. This concept of establishing SSAA was emerged when hundreds of ex-students staying in Kathmandu valley gathered in Koteshwor, Kathmandu to offer tribute to Late Jagadish Prasad Upadhyay on 12th obituary day dated 21 Marga 2065 of his demise. In the beginning, the Alumni members residing in Kathmandu Valley were only attending in the programs organized by SSAA. With the arrangements of Grand Reconciliation Program in 2076 and 2078 BS in Manigram, the members were remarkably increased. Till 15th of Shrawan 2081 there are 200 life members and 18 generous members. We are not just about having reconciliation program but also dedicated to contribute the activities of SMSS with laudable motto to support the school where we got education and our good aluni. SSAA was legally registered with District Administrative Office Kathmandu on dated 19 Magh 2066 BS. We believe that by being together, we can enjoy, support our SMSS and also our country for making a better place for everyone to live in.

Message from the Chairperson

Dear Alumni,
I hope this message finds you well. It is with great pleasure that I reach out to you on behalf of the Shanti School Alumni Association (SSAA). This Alumni was formed and formally registered with the Chief District Administrative Office, Kathmandu on 19th Magh 2066. It is also affiliated with Social Welfare Council.
I believe that the relationship of the students with their Alma Mater does not end with the completion of their studies in Shanti Model Secondary School- SMSS, Manigram. A student passing out from SMSS should always maintain and sustain the connection with his/her institution.
The main reason for the establishment of SSAA is to enable passing out students to remain in a continued contact with their Alumni Members and Teachers and concerned School.
Our ALUMNI continues to thrive, thanks to your ongoing support and engagement. We are really boosted up with your continued support so that we are able to enjoy with the various activities such as Reconciliation Programs, Bada Dashain, Deepawali, Nepal Sambat, Chhath greetings program, General Assembly and so on.
I encourage each of you to stay connected through our upcoming Grand Reconciliation Programs. Your participation not only strengthens our bonds but also enriches our Alumni Members and Teachers.
It is matter of pride to mention here that with the collective efforts of we Alumni, we have been able to raise funds for Guru Jagadish Prasad Upadhyay Memorial Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, Aama Baba scholarship Fund and Special Treatment Fund targeting the students studying in Shanti Model Secondary School-SMSS, Manigram. Many students of SMSS have been benefitted from our scholarships.
